Consignment hours are Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, on a first-come basis. Up to 12 items can be consigned once a week. Items remain on the selling floor for 30 days and if not sold, must be picked up by the due date or can be donated to the shop. The consignor will receive 50% of the sales price if sold within the consignment period. The consignor will be given a listing of all items consigned and this form must be shown to pick up consignment money or claimed unsold items. Items must be in good working condition, not missing parts, clean, in style and in season. Clothing must be brought in on hangers and must be washed or dry cleaned. For more information, email us at worthingtonthriftshop@gmail.com.
If the Shop has an excess of certain items, it may restrict consignment for a period of time until the shop has room to accept more. A list of temporarily restricted items is emailed to consignors who provide their email address to the shop. Additionally, the shop has posted a permanent list of items that it will not accept for consignment due to state law or that will not sell well in the shop. Those items include but are not limited to: stuffed toys and bedding, children's clothing, paperback books, magazines, furniture, TVs, computers, baby carriers/car seats/swings, bike helmets. Paperback books and magazines can be donated.
